- 2022 – 2023 : Attending Consultant, Cloudnine Hospital, Bangalore India. Practiced within India’s sole contributor to the UK-originated Vermont Oxford Network (VON), gaining exposure to globally benchmarked neonatal care protocols and outcomes-driven quality initiatives.
- 2020 – 2022 : Senior resident and Neonatal Fellow, St John’s Medical College. A Teaching institute ranked among India’s Top medical instituitions for clinical training and research (NIRF), engaged in various programmes training junior doctors and has been NRP instructor.
- 2019- 2020 : Junior Consultant, Motherhood Hospital , Bangalore. Integral part of NICU team in stabilizing high risk term neonates and premies.
- 2017-2019 : Pediatric Resident , St Philomena’s Hospital. High – volume tertiary centre, managed diverse acute/chronic pediatric and neonatal conditions, contributed in clinical audits and journal clubs.
- 2016-2017 : Pediatric Registrar NICU, Apollo Hospital , Bangalore
- Care of extreme preterm infants beginning as early as 24 weeks is her speciality. She has expertise in both noninvasive and invasive ventilation techniques including newer modalities like High-frequency oscillatory ventilation and Inhaled nitric oxide, ensuring optimal respiratory support for her tiny patients. Her skills also extend to the management of Birth Asphyxia and providing Therapeutic cooling.
- One of Dr Fathima Sabahath notable abilities is her proficiency in follow up care for high risk neonates and the assessment of their development, for which her research work had been nominated as Gold Medal award in National Neonatal conference. Adding on to her academic excellence she has also been an author and contributed to chapter in textbook of Pediatrics
