Work Experience

  • Dr Walid Alhussin is a highly experienced and skilled Neonatologist with work experience in many gulf Countries and Canada.
  • He completed MBBS from Damascus University in 2000, then he started Pediatric Residency Training Program at Children Hospital, Damascus University and he got Arab board certificate in pediatrics in 2005.
  • He worked as a registrar in Neonatology at Department of Pediatrics, Military Hospital, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, then he joined to Saudi Neonatology fellowship program on January 2010 and he was awarded Saudi board Neonatology Fellowship Certificate in 2012.
  • Dr Walid was promoted to Neonatology Consultant in Saudi Arabia in 2013 and he worked as Head of NICU at King Khaled Hospital, MOH, Saudi Arabia till 2016. Dr Walid was member of Ministry of Health Neonatal Service Improvement Program since 2013 as the Regional Director for North West Region of Saudi Arabia. His work was to implement Improvement projects, monitor, supervising and reporting about the services in north region in Saudi Arabia.
  • Dr Walid has good experience in UAE medical service system and he got MOH license as Consultant Neonatologist in 2017 and he worked at Medcare hospital groups for 18 months then he moved to Canada and he did Neonatology Fellowship program at McMaster University and graduated in 2020.
