Work Experience

Dr. Alaa Ashi is a highly experienced Vascular Surgeon with over 11 years of clinical experience in open and endovascular vascular surgery. He is licensed by the Syrian Ministry of Health and Dubai Health Authority (DHA). 

He has extensive expertise in the management of arterial, venous, and lymphatic diseases, including complex aneurysm repair, peripheral arterial disease, dialysis access creation, and varicose vein treatment. 

Prior to joining Zulekha Hospital Dubai, Dr. Ashi worked at Hama National Hospital, Syria, where he served as the Head of Vascular Surgery Division. During his tenure, he managed a high volume of vascular surgery cases and supervised the training of resident doctors. 

His surgical experience includes abdominal and peripheral aortic surgery, arterial bypass and reconstruction, arteriovenous fistula creation for hemodialysis, aneurysm repair, and advanced varicose vein treatments using surgical, laser, and sclerotherapy techniques. 

Dr. Ashi is committed to delivering patient-centered care, ensuring accurate diagnosis, effective surgical intervention, and long-term follow-up for optimal patient outcomes. He is known for his precise surgical approach and dedication to achieving the best possible results for his patients.
