Work Experience

  • Dr. Lamya Ibrahim has over 23 years of medical experience in clinical and molecular pathology. Prior joining to Zulekha Hospital she work in University Hospital Sharjah.
  • Dr. Lamya started her practice in 2000 at the clinical Pathology Department of Mansoura University. Thereafter, she worked as a specialist Clinical Pathologist in various hospitals and laboratories Egypt. In 2013, she continued her practice as Head of Laboratory and laboratory director in several prestigious, private and governmental hospitals in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah.
  • She became professor of clinical and molecular Pathology, Mansoura University in 2022. She is active member at college of American pathologist (CAP), American society associations (ASH), European Hematology Associations (EHA) and Emirates Hematology Association (EMA)
  • She completed her MBCHB from the Faculty of Medicine, Mansoura University, Egypt in 1997. She earned her Master degree in clinical Pathology in 2003 and her PhD in clinical Pathology in 2010 at the Mansoura University, Egypt.
