Work Experience

Consultant General and Visceral Surgeon with over 14 years of surgical experience in Germany. Before joining Zulekha Hospital Dubai, I served as Deputy Head of Department and Senior Consultant at Knappschaft Kliniken Kamen. For more than seven years, I worked as a Consultant Gastrointestinal and Oncological Surgeon at St. Anna Hospital, where I also led the Hernia Center, performing complex laparoscopic procedures and advanced abdominal wall reconstructions. Presentations of different subjects in Europe and UAE.

Special Interests:-

Dr. Alan Haso’s special interests include advanced laparoscopic gastrointestinal surgery, oncological surgery, and complex abdominal wall and hernia repair, including TAPP, TEP, eTEP, endoscopic TAR, and the LEESS technique. He also has extensive experience in abdominal wall reconstruction and minimally invasive management of acute abdominal conditions.
