Work Experience
Dr. Sona Ram Jaat has almost 10 years of experience in Emergency Medicine. He graduated from Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh, India (MBBS).
He completed 3 years of MD specialization training in Emergency Medicine from AIIMS New Delhi (ranked 5th among world’s top academic medical centres), followed by 1 year as Senior Resident in the Emergency Medicine Department at AIIMS New Delhi (2016–2020). During this period, he managed a high-volume ED of approximately 800 patients/day, handling complex paediatric, adult, medical, surgical, and trauma emergencies. He was also involved in teaching resident doctors in the Emergency Medicine Department.
He then served as Senior Resident / Specialist Emergency Medicine at AIIMS Jodhpur, Department of Emergency & Trauma, for over 2 years (Sept 2020 – Nov 2022), gaining further expertise in managing diverse emergencies.
He subsequently worked at Zulekha Hospital, Dubai as a Specialist Emergency Medicine, followed by a tenure at International Modern Hospital (IMH), Dubai, as Specialist Emergency Medicine / Head of Department (until December 2025).

Research and academic contributions conducted during tenure at AIIMS New Delhi and AIIMS Jodhpur, including involvement in clinical studies and training of postgraduate residents in Emergency Medicine.
