Pre-Test Instructions

Please note: while blood investigations generally call for some fasting precaution, the specific fasting requirement for each test in this package is listed below.

Per-test guidance

● Glucose Random/Fasting – Fasting requirement depends on test type/doctor's instruction

● All other listed tests (TSH, Rubella IgG, Indirect Coombs Test, Blood Group and Rh, CBC, VDRL/RPR, HIV, Hepatitis B Surface Antigen, Hepatitis C Virus Antibody, Urine Routine, CTG, Coagulation Profile) – No fasting required

All test results in this package are typically available within 4 hours.

Exclusions

1. Anti-D injection for the mother, if required
2. Additional medical management for the mother or baby due to complications
3. Baby's management in the NICU, although a 10% discount is applicable on actual charges
4. Blood transfusion
5. Instrumental delivery, AED 500 extra
6. Twin delivery, AED 1,000 extra
7. Newborn baby's registration charges, AED 20 extra
8. In case of twin delivery, services for the second baby are completely chargeable
9. Emergency service charges for specialists
10. Baby's blood group and Rh typing and other investigations
11. Management costs related to complications arising during pregnancy
12. Newborn clothes and wipes
13. Medicines for the mother and baby
14. Any other service outside the package, which will be charged at actual cost. A 10% discount applies to eligible out-of-package services, except medicines.
15. The package is provided only by an obstetrician or gynaecologist.
16. Tests are carried out only when clinically required.
17. Package discounts are cancelled if the patient opts out of the package.
18. The first visit is not included if the package is booked on the same day.
19. The package amount is non-refundable.
20. The package is applicable only to self-pay or non-insurance patients.
21. The package must be booked at least one month before delivery.
22. Documents required for delivery include a copy of the patient's and husband's passports with valid visa pages and a marriage certificate copy.
