Work Experience

  • Dr. Vinod has over 18 years of experience working as Specialist General Surgeon. He is experienced in performing all types of general surgical procedures and advanced laparoscopic surgeries including complex hernia repair, weight loss surgery, gall bladder and appendix surgery, as well as procedures for the stomach, food pipe, liver, pancreas, spleen, small and large intestine and rectum. He also specializes in treatment for surgical problems related to the breast, thyroid, skin and soft tissue, and varicose veins.
  • Prior to joining Zulekha Hospital he worked as Senior Consultant at Believers Church Medical College Hospital, Kerala, India. Dr. Vinod served at Medanta Hospital Gurgaon and BJ Medical College, Ahmedabad, Gujrat, India. He also worked as a Senior Consultant at Believers Church Medical College Hospital.
  • Dr. Vinod completed his Master Degree in General Surgery and Fellowship in Laparoscopic Surgery. He received advanced training in hepatobiliary surgery as well as liver transplantation at Asan Medical Center, Seoul and Chang Gung Hospital, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. He has done certified training programs in Bariatric Surgery and Vascular Surgery.
